Teaching children to really use their Business Brain when they are at the impressionable stage can be the difference between Getting By in the future or Getting Ahead in the future. We all want our kids, or grand kids, to be successful in life, which is why we owe it to them to bring out the best of their abilities as early as possible.
Bribes create dishonesty in my opinion, so don’t tell them that if they can figure out or solve whatever it is that you’re doing they get the prize, or treat, or whatever your offering. Give them the correct answer. Little things mean a lot to little minds. Outdoors is the true adventure to many kids, and will absolutely bring out a multitude of different emotions and ultimately many questions, so get ready to have answers.
Hopefully you will find the answers to their many wide eyed questions like “What kind of bug is that?”, or “What’s that bird eating?”. Believe it or not, the correct answers to these questions will spark a craving to learn more in most kids. Play games with them that allow them to build an empire. This will help them understand the business world, to an extent. By bringing out the inquisitive part of your child or grandchild you are igniting the flame of the future.
